Sight Seen

Then you take a photo of it that nobody, including you, will ever look at, because that's what you do.

  1. With a big screen TV and marvellous travel documentaries (eg "Europe from Above"), the 'sights' can be darned anticlimactic in real life. And, unlike your cartoon hero, one never sees such famous sights without roughly a million other tourists crowded around.
Travel for me has become finding some off-the-path nugget away from the tour buses.
(Sort of like hunting for a gum-chewing unicorn in the modern world...)

    1. That's true. Also many travel sites have areal pictures of the sights, but I can only view them from the ground level which does not make them look so impressive.
