It's impossibly difficult to get a good apartment in Berlin

  1. It was the same way in 1974 when I was looking for an apartment as a student. Sure hasn't changed much.
(I LOVE the drawing of ol' Itchy Feet jumping rope! )

    1. Berlin is one of those cities where people turn up literally in hundrets to get a little look into a flat. And of course you dont have time to think about it, because at least 3 others will take it immediately.
I don't even know Berliners, but from time to time I get frantic HELP ME FIND A FLAT! tweets in my timeline.

  5. I'm planning on looking for a new place when I go back in two weeks. This really pumped me up for the "lovely" experience!
