Look Out

In France there is a lot of dog poop shit on the street. You have to watch where you're going walking

I'm going to invest in French shovels!

  1. In the last pane it should still be 90ยบ, since you indicated it's the shortest angle between horizon and the vertical line. 270ยบ would it be if the arc was on the complementary angle.

    1. -90 deg perhaps? Or that's the same as 270?

    2. Yeah, mathematically it would be -90ยบ, unless the Itchy Feet guy is so flexible he can bend back and around until he's facing down :-P.

  2. Ugh, it was that way in Israel too. People would let their dogs wander around the neighborhood during the day. The result: one had to constantly watch out for dog poop whenever one walked along the sidewalk. So annoying!

  3. In Madrid it's considered good luck if you step in dog poop because "your luck couldn't get any worse, so it has to be better!"

  4. Portugal too. Sooo sad. Poop everywhere.

But in Spain at least they countered it for awhile. They sent offenders the forgotten poo to them in a package. No one wants to get that package! But, it sure did work.

    1. This town (in France) just introduced a 68-euro fine for not cleaning after one's dog or throwing cigarette butts on the ground.

  5. Yeah, I'm sure there's no trash on the floor in Nepal or in Morocco, ever.

Not sure about other cities, but before I left Paris a few years ago, they had started implementing aggressive fining of contravening dog owners, which had pretty much fixed the problem. FYI.
