A few years ago, I took a local community centre night class in Spanish. The next year, feeling I needed the next step, I enrolled in the university's night class for "Beginner Spanish". The first two classes were basic vocabulary that I managed well enough. Then the third class suddenly leaped to your comic strip, virtually word for word. I dropped the class before the deadline and slunk away.
