Boy, in countries that believe burping is a big "thumbs up" in rating a meal, I sure hope they're more discreet than your cartoon. Do they use a napkin or just let the spit, food, and sometimes smell launch across the table?
Hah, no. I'm exaggerating. With regard to Morocco, anyway. But I've definitely been at plenty of meals where they do the grumbly belching as they're eating.
