Worth It

tourist sites are the worst, until you see the sight

So I can make more holier-than-thou, anti-tourism claptrap.

  1. Yup, it's so true...
A beautiful scenery is worth the chaos.

  2. That is clearly Garganta del Diablo
-Devil's Throat- on the Iguazú Waterfalls in Argentina!

And you are right about everything!

  3. You missed the "local high school students on the field trip surrounding you and busy taking pictures with their cell phones" :)

    1. I actually want to do a kind of companion comic to this one where the IF guy is trying carefully to take a photo of a landmark or sight, but all these tourists keep walking up and snapping 2-second selfies then walking away. It makes him want to just ENJOY the thing he came to see instead of trying to "capture" it in a photo, and so he puts the camera away and just stares...

But I can't think of a good joke for it XD

    2. Maybe there should be one person who get into his shot (not him again!) but only when he puts camera he notices that is the one person who just ENJOY the view in the crowd of selfies people.

  4. Literally just went to Iguazú and had the exact same thoughts. The Brazilian side is a touristy zoo, but the Argentinian side has some nice trails to get away from all the people!

    1. Good to know! Although it's not easy to get from one side to the other...
