Funny thing is, my pet rabbit did both. I went on a long trip and asked my grandparents to take care of bunny. "She shouldn't be much trouble," I had said. Came back to find that bunny had escaped her enclosure *every. single. day.* to search for us (she had never escaped before). And then when I went to see bunny, she turned her back to me in a way that clearly said "Well you ignored me for so long, let's see how you like it! How dare you!" (She forgave me... after plenty of veggie snacks and cuddles)
