  1. Just the other day, I was in the dairy aisle of my regular (big) supermarket. A woman walked up and exclaimed "THIS is all they have for milk??"
    1) I have no idea what milk she could possibly be after. Andean Llama Milk?
    2) You've put the idea in my head that she could have been from far, far away, used to the displays of other "food museums".

    1. I imagine that's how the French feel visiting the wine section of a market ANYWHERE outside France

    2. Possibly rude on my part, but I would have imagined a selection of wine in France would be: "French, French, or, hey French wine" (nothing but the best, after all)

    3. You are right. French supermarkets don’t really carry anything else but French wines, and not all of them are the best either. If you are lucky you will find one or two Italian or Portuguese wines. Finnish liquor stores have a much better selection of wines from all over the world.
